Poet. Son of Richard Brinsley Sheridan and his second wife Hester Jane Ogle. Born in London. Educated at Trinity College, Cambridge, and admitted to the Middle Temple in 1816. Gave lodgings to his niece, Caroline Norton, after her separation from her husband. Author of *Thoughts on the Greek Revolution* (1824).
