Poet, lawyer, clergyman. Born in Glasgow. Alternative surname spelling: “Graham.” Educated at the University of Glasgow. In spite of wishing to be a clergyman, at his family’s wishes Grahame worked as an advocate (his father’s profession), writing poetry in his spare time.
