b. 1818. d. 1898. Nationality: Anglo-Irish. VIAF.
Poet and Church of England clergyman. Born in Ballymaguigan, County Derry. Educated at Trinity College, Dublin. Curate in Berkshire, Sussex, and Hampstead (1845-1861). Vicar in Westmorland and Cumbria (1861-1872). Rector in Gloucestershire (1872-1895).
