Poet. Née Blachford. Born in Dublin. Married her cousin, Henry Tighe, on 6 October 1793. Friends with Thomas Moore. Suffered from consumption. Author of *Psyche* (privately printed in 1805, then published with other poems in 1811), which influenced Keats.
