Poet. Daughter of Samuel and Louisa Budden. Born in Notting Hill, London, but grew up in a village in Kent. Married in 1884. Influenced by, and corresponded with, Robert Browning. *Chambers’s Journal* ledger entries list her address as 118 Godolphin Rd, Shepherd’s Bush, London, W. (15 July 1899; NLS Dep 341/371) and 28 Cambrian Rd, Richmond (22 December 1900; NLS Dep 341/371). Author of *A Palace of Dreams, and Other Verse* (1901).
