Poet. Raised by her maternal grandparents. Educated at a boarding school where she learned Latin. Married, but was widowed soon after. Lived in South Africa and later (by 1905) Roding, near Dunmow, Essex. Contributed to *Pall Mall Magazine*, *Argosy*, *The Cape Illustrated Magazine*, *The Examiner*, *Grocott’s Mail*, and *London Opinion*. Author of *Song of the London Man, Song of South Africa, and Other Poems* (1890).
