Illustrator and landscape painter. Born in Oxford. Moved to London in 1871. Worked at the Minton, Kensington Gore workshops with Ellen Welby, another artist. The pair opened the art pottery painter’s shop “Misses Spiers & Welby.” Member of the Ipswich Art Club. Exhibited at the Society of Women Artists, Royal Academy, Royal Society of British Artist’s, Royal Institute of Painters in Water Colours, and Royal Society of Artists, among others.
