*The Madras Mail*. Author of *The Vision of a Beginner, and Other Poems* (1892, under
the name “Constance Finch”), *Castles in Spain: Songs of the Far East and Other Verses*
(1907, under the name “Constance Farmer,” which lists the earlier volume as her publication),
and *Lavender Harvest* (1926). *Chambers’s Journal* ledger entry for Finch’s “Rondel,”
published on 5 September 1891, refers to the author as Miss C. Finch, of Aberdeen
House, Blackheath Park, London S. E. (NLS Dep 341/370). Other *Chambers’s Journal*
ledger entries refer to her as Miss C. Farmar, and list her address as c/o Mrs Frick,
Rosemount, St Leonards on Sea (poem published 1 July 1899; NLS Dep 341/371) and 16
