Author of “The Scottish Monasteries of Old: A Brief Account of the Houses which existed in Scotland before the Protestant Reformation for monks following the rule of St. Benedict* (1913). *Chambers’s Journal* ledger entry for “A Song of Hope,” published on 3 November 1900, lists the poet as Rev.
