Norfork County Council in Norwich. Conservator of fisheries for Norfolk and Suffolk.
Wrote about the Norfolk Broads as a recreation area for the public and advocated for
their protection which resulted in an acot of Parliament in 1888. Auhtor of several
books on fishing, sailing, and outdoor recreation. Married Louisa Alice. Author of
*Mountain, Meadow, & Mere: A series of Outdoor Sketches of Sport, Scenery, Adventures,
