Grosvenor, Thomas (M)

b. 30 May 1764. d. 20 January 1851.
Army officer, MP, and poet. Educated at Westminster School. Joined the armed forced in 1779. Served in Flanders, Holland, England, and Denmark. Became a general in 1819 and a field marshall in 1846. MP for Chester, Cheshire (1795-1825), and Stockbridge, Hampshire (1825-1830). Married twice, Elizabeth Heathcote on 6 April 1797 and Anne Wilbraham on 15 October 1831.
