Bowen, H. Courthope (M)

b. 1848. d. 1909.
Translator, religious writer, and teacher. Born in Trinidad, West Indies. Educated at Corpus Christi College, Cambridge. Worked as an assistant master (1870-1876), headmaster (1876-1881), and principal (1882-1886) in various schools in England. Education lecturer at Cambridge (1884-1898).
