Street, Dublin (Lohrli 200). According to Parrott, she was the wife of George Addey
(also Addy), who ran a clothing, draper’s and tailor’s business from the Grafton Street
address, and whom she married in July 1848 (as he was not a Quaker, Elizabeth was
initially removed as a member from the Society of Friends). The moved to Cork from
