English monarch. Only child of Henry VIII and his second wife Anne Boleyn. Extremely well educated by tutors and received a humanist education. Spoke six languages, French, Greek, Latin, Italian, French, Spanish, and Hebrew. Reigned from November 1558 until her death in March 1603, a period known as the Golden Age of English history.
