               <l>Thy hand upon the vessel’s helm, or on the sabre’s <rhyme type="dvpp:rhymeMasculine" label="a">hilt</rhyme> ;</l>
               <l>Away ! thou’rt free ! o’er land and sea, go rush to danger’s <rhyme type="dvpp:rhymeMasculine" label="b">brink</rhyme> !</l>
               <l>But oh, thou canst not fly from thought ! <seg ana="dvpp:sdRefrain">thy <emph>curse</emph> will be—<emph>to <rhyme type="dvpp:rhymeMasculine" label="b">think</rhyme> !</emph></seg></l>

               <l>Aye, ev’ry note will have its sting—<seg ana="dvpp:sdRefrain">thy curse will be—<emph>to <rhyme type="dvpp:rhymeMasculine" label="b">think</rhyme> !</emph></seg></l>

               <l>Forget me ! No, that <emph>shall</emph> not be ! I’ll haunt thee in thy <rhyme type="dvpp:rhymeMasculine" label="g">sleep</rhyme>,</l>
               <l>In dreams thou’lt cling to slimy rocks that overhang the <rhyme type="dvpp:rhymeMasculine" label="g">deep</rhyme> ;</l>
               <l>Thou’lt shriek for aid ! <emph>my</emph> feeble arm shall hurl thee from the <rhyme label="b" type="dvpp:rhymeMasculine dvpp:rhymeCrossStanza">brink</rhyme>,</l>
