               <l>The lake in silence <rhyme type="dvpp:rhymeMasculine" label="b">lies</rhyme>,</l>
               <l>Untouch’d by gusts of autumn’s changeful <rhyme type="dvpp:rhymeMasculine" label="a">breeze</rhyme>,</l>
               <l>Which sweep the distant <rhyme type="dvpp:rhymeMasculine" label="b">skies</rhyme>.</l>

               <l>And Science, blindly wrapping round its <rhyme label="c" type="dvpp:rhymeMasculine dvpp:rhymeCrossStanza">face</rhyme></l>
               <l>The veil it draws from <rhyme type="dvpp:rhymeMasculine" label="i">things</rhyme> ;</l>

               <l>With unbelieving threats and mocks im<rhyme type="dvpp:rhymeMasculine" label="l">pure</rhyme>,</l>
               <l>And self-bewitching <rhyme type="dvpp:rhymeMasculine" label="m">song</rhyme>.</l>

               <l>A moment’s rush is theirs to seize their <rhyme type="dvpp:rhymeMasculine" label="n">prey</rhyme>,</l>
               <l>Which shrinks perhaps a<rhyme type="dvpp:rhymeMasculine" label="o">ghast</rhyme> ;</l>
               <l>But nerved again by faith, it stands at <rhyme type="dvpp:rhymeMasculine" label="n">bay</rhyme>,</l>
               <l>And, lo ! the rout is <rhyme type="dvpp:rhymeMasculine" label="o">past</rhyme>.</l>

               <l>Who, looking clear through all things undi<rhyme type="dvpp:rhymeMasculine" label="p">smay’d</rhyme>,</l>

               <l>While sweeps the howling gale from caverns <rhyme type="dvpp:rhymeMasculine" label="r">cold</rhyme>,</l>
               <l>And waves the leafless <rhyme type="dvpp:rhymeMasculine" label="s">boughs</rhyme> ;</l>
