               <l>Dejected and a<rhyme type="dvpp:rhymeMasculine" label="b">lone</rhyme></l>
               <l>The Monarch quits his <rhyme type="dvpp:rhymeMasculine" label="b">throne</rhyme></l>
               <l>For the region of a passionless re<rhyme type="dvpp:rhymeMasculine" label="a">pose</rhyme>.</l>
               <l>He has dropped from his <rhyme type="dvpp:rhymeMasculine" label="c">hand</rhyme></l>
               <l>His globe of silver <rhyme type="dvpp:rhymeMasculine" label="c">sand</rhyme>,</l>
               <l>To whiten our tresses as he <rhyme type="dvpp:rhymeMasculine" label="d">goes</rhyme> ;</l>

               <l>Prophet of pleasure, and Soother of <rhyme type="dvpp:rhymeMasculine" label="g">sighs</rhyme> ?</l>
               <l><seg ana="dvpp:sdAnaphora">This is the</seg> son and the heir of the <rhyme label="e" type="dvpp:rhymeMasculine dvpp:rhymeCrossStanza">Dead</rhyme>—</l>
               <l><seg ana="dvpp:sdAnaphora">This is the</seg> king who shall reign in his <rhyme label="e" type="dvpp:rhymeMasculine dvpp:rhymeCrossStanza">stead</rhyme>.</l>

               <l>And crown him with a garland of the <rhyme type="dvpp:rhymeMasculine" label="i">vine</rhyme> ;</l>
               <l>Let the old strife <rhyme type="dvpp:rhymeMasculine" label="j">end</rhyme>,</l>
               <l>And the new love <rhyme type="dvpp:rhymeMasculine" label="j">blend</rhyme></l>
               <l>With the hopes that are sparkling in our <rhyme type="dvpp:rhymeMasculine" label="i">wine</rhyme>.</l>
