               <l>The snow-white blooms fell on her <rhyme type="dvpp:rhymeMasculine" label="a">hair</rhyme> ;</l>
               <l>Athwart his face the sunbeans lay ;</l>
               <l>And love was young, and life was <rhyme type="dvpp:rhymeMasculine" label="a">fair</rhyme>.</l>

               <l>‘ Only one little year,’ they said,</l>

               <l>Slowly the gray mist creeps adown</l>

               <l>Song-birds are hushed, night-stars appear, </l>
               <l>And daylight dimly steals a<rhyme type="dvpp:rhymeMasculine" label="e">way</rhyme>.</l>

               <l>In bitterest agony she moans—</l>
