               <l>Grim darkness felt his <rhyme label="a" type="dvpp:rhymeMasculine">might</rhyme>,</l>
               <l>And fled a<rhyme label="b" type="dvpp:rhymeMasculine">way</rhyme> :</l>
               <l>Then startled seas, and mountains <rhyme label="c" type="dvpp:rhymeMasculine">cold</rhyme></l>
               <l>Shone forth all bright in blue and <rhyme label="c" type="dvpp:rhymeMasculine">gold</rhyme>,</l>
               <l>And cried, “’Tis day, ’tis <rhyme type="dvpp:rhymeMasculine" label="b">day</rhyme> !”</l>

               <l>And blushing murmur’d, “<rhyme label="a" type="dvpp:rhymeMasculine dvpp:rhymeCrossStanza">Light</rhyme> !”</l>

               <l>Flow’d o’er the sunny hills of <rhyme label="h" type="dvpp:rhymeMasculine">noon</rhyme> ;</l>
               <l>And when night came, the pallid <rhyme label="h" type="dvpp:rhymeMasculine">moon</rhyme></l>
               <l>Pour’d forth her pensive <rhyme label="g" type="dvpp:rhymeMasculine">rays</rhyme>.</l>

               <l>And every form of grief and <rhyme label="n" type="dvpp:rhymeMasculine">sin</rhyme></l>
               <l>Shall see and feel its <rhyme label="m" type="dvpp:rhymeMasculine">fire</rhyme>.</l>
