               <l>Rusted by years, with many a yellow <rhyme type="dvpp:rhymeMasculine" label="a">stain</rhyme>,</l>
               <l>And blazons worn, by pious fingers <rhyme type="dvpp:rhymeMasculine" label="c">prest</rhyme>,—</l>
               <l>Within whose leaves, enshrined in silver <rhyme type="dvpp:rhymeMasculine" label="d">rare</rhyme></l>
               <l>By some old goldsmith’s art in glory <rhyme type="dvpp:rhymeMasculine" label="c">drest</rhyme>,</l>
               <l>Speaking his boldness and his loving <rhyme type="dvpp:rhymeMasculine" label="d">care</rhyme>,</l>
               <l>This faded flower found <rhyme type="dvpp:rhymeMasculine" label="c">rest</rhyme>.</l>

               <l>Before its death, it might have seen <emph>that</emph> <rhyme type="dvpp:rhymeMasculine" label="g">flown</rhyme> ;</l>
               <l>Needs nought save wing of wand’ring butter<rhyme type="dvpp:rhymeMasculine" label="f">fly</rhyme></l>
               <l>To touch the bloom,—’tis <rhyme type="dvpp:rhymeHalf" label="g">gone</rhyme>.</l>

               <l>The page still wrinkles where the dew once <rhyme type="dvpp:rhymeMasculine" label="i">dried</rhyme>,</l>
               <l>When that last morn was sad with other <rhyme type="dvpp:rhymeFeminine" label="j">weeping</rhyme> ;</l>

               <l>Tells of long years o’er that strange herbal <rhyme type="dvpp:rhymeMasculine" label="m">sped</rhyme>.</l>
               <l>Our bygone things have still some perfume <rhyme type="dvpp:rhymeFeminine" label="l">blending</rhyme>,</l>
               <l>And our lost loves are paths, where Roses’ bloom,</l>
               <l>Sweet e’en in death, is <rhyme type="dvpp:rhymeMasculine" label="m">shed</rhyme>.</l>
