               <l>Effacing of this mortal <rhyme type="dvpp:rhymeMasculine" label="b">day</rhyme></l>
               <l>The scenes that lived in memory’s <rhyme type="dvpp:rhymeMasculine" label="a">dream</rhyme>,</l>
               <l>From spirits pass’d a<rhyme type="dvpp:rhymeMasculine" label="b">way</rhyme> ;</l>
               <l>How blest, methinks, their healing <rhyme type="dvpp:rhymeMasculine" label="c">balm</rhyme></l>
               <l>That dew’d the soul in endless <rhyme type="dvpp:rhymeMasculine" label="c">calm</rhyme> !</l>

               <l>From her pale tablets <rhyme type="dvpp:rhymeMasculine" label="e">too</rhyme> ;</l>
               <l>Wash’d out the woes of parted <rhyme type="dvpp:rhymeMasculine" label="f">years</rhyme>,</l>
               <l>That made the eye a fount of <rhyme type="dvpp:rhymeMasculine" label="f">tears</rhyme> ;</l>

            <lg rhyme="ghghii">
               <l>Erased the heartstains of the <rhyme type="dvpp:rhymeMasculine" label="g">past</rhyme>—</l>
               <l>Regrets that haunt the brightest <rhyme type="dvpp:rhymeFeminine" label="h">bowers</rhyme>,</l>
               <l>Like oft-returning clouds, and <rhyme type="dvpp:rhymeMasculine" label="g">cast</rhyme></l>
               <l>A shade on summer <rhyme type="dvpp:rhymeFeminine" label="h">hours</rhyme> ;</l>
               <l>Remorse that comes our sleep to <rhyme type="dvpp:rhymeMasculine" label="i">blight</rhyme>,</l>
               <l>Begirt with gloom and ghostly <rhyme type="dvpp:rhymeMasculine" label="i">night</rhyme>.</l>

               <l>But oh ! that Lethe’s blessed <rhyme type="dvpp:rhymeMasculine" label="j">wave</rhyme></l>
               <l>Ne’er but in Fancy’s realm a<rhyme type="dvpp:rhymeMasculine" label="k">bode</rhyme> ;</l>
               <l>In the far world beyond the <rhyme type="dvpp:rhymeMasculine" label="j">grave</rhyme></l>
               <l>Its waters never <rhyme type="dvpp:rhymeMasculine" label="k">flow’d</rhyme>,</l>
               <l>To banish from that future <rhyme type="dvpp:rhymeMasculine" label="l">sphere</rhyme></l>
               <l>One little record written <rhyme type="dvpp:rhymeMasculine" label="l">here</rhyme>.</l>
