                  <l>In fact a very pretty <rhyme type="dvpp:rhymeMasculine" label="b">wife</rhyme>,</l>
                  <l>Whom he loved better than his <rhyme type="dvpp:rhymeMasculine" label="b">life</rhyme>.</l>
                  <l>Her eyes were of the blackest <rhyme type="dvpp:rhymeMasculine" label="c">sort</rhyme>,</l>

                  <l>Found it impossible to <rhyme label="n" type="dvpp:rhymeMasculine dvpp:rhymeCrossStanza">pray</rhyme></l>
                  <l>In such a noise, she asked <rhyme type="dvpp:rhymeFeminine" label="z">politely</rhyme> :—</l>
                  <l rendition="#pom_293_incid_indent_1">“ What mean these groans and writhings so un-<lb/><rhyme type="dvpp:rhymeFeminine" label="z">sightly</rhyme> ? ”</l>

                  <l>I’ll grant your wish,” and as he <rhyme type="dvpp:rhymeMasculine" label="b1">spake</rhyme>,</l>
                  <l rendition="#pom_293_indent_2">The staff his hand was grasping <rhyme type="dvpp:rhymeFeminine" label="c1">struck he</rhyme></l>
                  <l>Upon the tomb, and, lo ! it open’d <rhyme type="dvpp:rhymeMasculine" label="d1">wide</rhyme>,</l>
                  <l>And Fatima appear’d out<rhyme type="dvpp:rhymeMasculine" label="d1">side</rhyme></l>

                  <l>Rush’d to her husband’s arms in loving <rhyme type="dvpp:rhymeFeminine" label="e1">fashion</rhyme>.</l>
                  <l>How they embraced and hugg’d each <rhyme type="dvpp:rhymeFeminine" label="f1">other</rhyme> !</l>
