A man and a woman embrace on the deck of a ship. The man is shirtless but he wears a band around his head, a skirt, and a sheathed dagger on his hip. He steps over a man’s corpse to meet the woman’s embrace. There is a shield attached to the corpse’s arm and an axe lies beside it on the deck. At the left side of the illustration, another man leans over the body of a dying man. There are additional ships in the background. 3/4-page illustration contained within a single-ruled border.
