A man and a woman ride together on a rearing horse. The woman sits side-saddle in front of the man and she turns to face him. The man holds her and looks into her eyes. The figures are travelling up a curved path on the side of a mountain. A large group of armed soldiers is running up the mountain path behind them. At the top of the path, three knights stand together holding swords. There are trees scattered throughout the illustration. Buildings stand in the distance at the bottom of the mountain. 3/4-page illustration contained within a single-ruled border.
