Decorated initial word, “CHRISTMAS”, followed by a religious cross. The word is broken into two lines between the “T” and the “M”. The initial word appears to be written on fabric; there is a decorative trim with dangling tassels along the bottom edge. Below, a woman embraces a man’s head, which is about three times the size of her own. The head lacks eyes, and the woman runs her right hand through its beard. Both figures wear crowns of leaves. With her left hand, the woman holds a pineapple on a pole wrapped with leaves. 1/12 page.
