               <l>Will she not come with her smiles and <rhyme type="dvpp:rhymeMasculine" label="d">tears</rhyme> ?</l>
               <l>What does it matter ? His heart is <rhyme type="dvpp:rhymeMasculine" label="c">dead</rhyme>—</l>
               <l>Dead in the night of those eighteen <rhyme type="dvpp:rhymeMasculine" label="d">years</rhyme>.</l>

               <l>Ever the laden tumbrils <rhyme type="dvpp:rhymeMasculine" label="f">roll</rhyme> ;</l>
               <l>God ! how the moments hurry <rhyme type="dvpp:rhymeMasculine" label="g">by</rhyme> !</l>
               <l>And him she had loved could set him free,</l>
               <l>But he will not list to her mother-<rhyme type="dvpp:rhymeMasculine" label="d">tears</rhyme> ;</l>
               <l>His love has <seg ana="dvpp:sdInRhyme">fled</seg>, his heart is <seg ana="dvpp:sdInRhyme">dead</seg>—</l>
