Symmetrical tailpiece that features a beast’s head at its centre. Vines extend from the beast’s face on either side, forming a vegetal pattern with fleurons at its extremities. There are animals on either side of the head, sitting on the vegetals. On the left is a rabbit and on the right is a squirrel. The squirrel appears to be eating a seed. Illustration is contained by a rectangular decorative border that features small interlocking circles; this border is then contained within a rectangular double-ruled border. 1/32 page.
