Poet and Quaker. Address in the Household Words Office Book given as 47 Grafton Street, Dublin (Lohrli 200). According to Parrott, she was the wife of George Addey (also Addy), who ran a clothing, draper’s and tailor’s business from the Grafton Street address, and whom she married in July 1848 (as he was not a Quaker, Elizabeth was initially removed as a member from the Society of Friends). The moved to Cork from Dublin in the 1860s.
