Charles Badham, M. D., F. R. S.Born in London. Educated at the University of Edinburgh and Pembroke College, Oxford. Travelled to Italy, Albania, and Greece (1815-1817). Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians. Appointed Chair of the Practice of Physic at Glasgow (1827). Married twice: Margaret Campbell on 12 April 1800 and Caroline Foote on 28 October 1833.
