Poet and song writer. Daughter of Thomas Sheridan. Sister of Caroline Norton. Granddaughter of Richard Brinsley Sheridan. Married Commander Price Blackwood on 4 July 1825. Became Lady Dufferin in 1839, when her husband inherited the family title. Blackwood died in 1841, and she married George Hay, Earl of Gifford, in 1862. Lived in Italy (1825-1827).
