Author information from the Chambers’s Journal ledger entry for Chrysanthemums, signed Ida Mary Forde, which gives the author as Miss Bradford, of 5 Montague Terrace, Richmond, Surrey (NLS Dep 341/369). Ancestry gives the Bradford family resident at 5 Montague Terrace, Richmond, from the 1881 England Census, with daughters Emily, Julia, and Teresa resident. Presumably the poet is one of these women.
