M. M.Born in London. Married William Busk on 2 August 1796. Learned to speak several languages including German, French, Spanish, and Italian, from her travels on the continent. Began writing to supplement her husband’s income, although she eventually separated from to become financially independent. Contributed to Foreign Quarterly Review and the Athenaeum.
