Published a metrical translation of The Odes of Horace (1894). The Chambers’s Journal ledger entry for his poem, published on 15 December 1877, gives is address as Merton College, Oxford (NLS Dep 341/371). Elected to the Oxford Architectural and Historical Society in 1876 (see their Proceedings, new series, vol. 3, 1880, p. 271). Biographical information: Rev.
