Prince of Poet, Poet of Princes). Friend of Joachim du Bellay. Wrote in Middle French. Travelled in Scotland (1537-1538). Author of Le Tombeau de Très-Illustre Princesse Marguerite de France, Duchesse de Savoye (1575) and Les Quatre Premiers Livres des Odes des Pierre de Ronsard, Vandamois. Ensemble son Bocage (1550).
