Poet. Alternative signature: J. R. Eastwood. Author of Poems for Little People and those of Larger Growth (1887, 1896) and Fireside Poems (1896). The Chambers’s Journal ledger entry for his unsigned poem, published on 2 October 1875, gives his name as “J. R. Eastwood” and his address as Ruby House, Willaston, near Chester (NLS Dep 341/368).
