Catholic poet, writing in English and Irish, and involved in the Irish literary revival. Born in Tallaght, County Dublin. Sister of poets Mary and Katherine Furlong. Member of the Gaelic League. Regularly contributed to The Irish Monthly. Author of poetry volume Roses and Rue (1899). Chambers’s Journal ledger entry for To Spring, published on 4 March 1893, lists her as Miss A.
