A Tale (1897), Sylvia in Flowerland (1899), Rare, Vanishing and List British Birds. Compiled from Notes by W. H. Hudson (1923). The Chambers’s Journal ledger entry for Long Ago, published on 27 December 1884, refers to the author as Miss Linda Gardiner, and gives her address as Winchester (NLS Dep 341/369).
