Poet, dramatist, and journalist. Born in Crosby, Lancashire. Suffragist. In the 1911 England Census she is listed as a journalist and writer living in Marylebone, London. Author of Miss Appleyard’s Awakening: A Play in One Act (first performed June 1911, the Rehearsal Theatre, London). Chambers’s Journal ledger entry for Glover’s The Wind’s Music, published on 25 July 1896, refers to the author as Miss E. H. M. Glover, and lists her address as Brookfield, Birkdale, Southport (NLS Dep 341/371). (AC)
