Contributed poems to Irish Monthly. Author of A Twelfth Night King. [A Tale] (1897), Killarney (1912), On Life’s Journey: Poems and Ballads (1916). Chambers’s Journal ledger entry for Gorge’s poem Waiting for May, published on 22 March 1890, lists her as Miss M. Gorges, of 15 Royal Terrace, Kingstown, Ireland (NLS Dep 341/370).
