Working-class poet and textile worker. Pseudonym: Adelaide (see Robinson 125). One of the “Lowell Mill Girls” who published poetry in The Lowell Offering monthly magazine. Co-editor of The Operatives’ Magazine (1841-1842) with Abby A. Goddard, which merged with The Lowell Offering (1840-1845). According to Robinson, Hall left Lowell by 1848 and worked as a missionary to the Choctaw Indians (155). Biographical information: Harriet H.
