Poet, fossil collector, and geological author. Née Yelverton. Born in Warwickshire. Became Baroness Grey of Ruthin at the age of one after the death of her father in 1811. Married twice, to George Augustus Francis Rawdon Hastings on 1 August 1831 and to Hastings Reginald Henry on 9 April 1845. Established a private museum in her home, Efford House, to display the fossils she collected and gained a specialist knowledge of. Author of several geological research papers on stratigraphy (1852-1853). Sold her collection of fossils to the British Museum in 1855, who moved them to the Natural History Museum in London.
