Kensington Art School. Close friend of Oscar Wilde; lover of Somerset Maugham, H.
G. Wells, and Ford Madox Ford. Her Kensington salon was attended by many well known
literary figures. She founded the Women Writers’ Suffrage League, co-founded PEN with
