Poet, novelist, and reformer. Pseudonym: H. H. Née Fiske. From Amherst, Massachusetts. Daughter of Nathan Welby Fiske and Deborah Vinal. Childhood friends with Emily Dickinson, with whom she corresponded later in life. Married Edward Bissell Hunt in 1852 and had two sons, both of whom died in childhood before Hunt himself died in 1863. Married William Sharpless Jackson in 1873.
