Author of Felicità: A Metrical Romance (1855), Poems (1867), and Bianca Capello: A Tragedy (1873). Moved to Italy from 1850-1865, supported Italian Unification, and was closely connected with English writers such as Robert and Elizabeth Barrett Browning and Alfred Tennyson.
