Roman Catholic priest and poet. Author information from the Chambers’s Journal ledger entry for The First Snowdrop, published on 20 February 1864, which lists the author as Rev. T. Langan, Garristown, Co. Dublin (NLS 341/310). According to Tom’s Almanac for 1859 (p. 737), Thomas Langan was the parish priest at Meath, Garristown, along with John Langan. (AC)
