Poet. Pseudonym: M. M. Chambers’s Journal ledger entries for her poems, published on 10 January 1880 and 6 May 1882, give her address as 13 Elmbank Crescent, Glasgow, and refer to her as Miss MacDonald (NLS Dep 341/369). Intriguingly this is just around the corner from the home of another Chambers’s contributor from this period, Helen K. Wilson. Nationality presumed from the surname and address. (AC)
