Author information from the Chambers’s Journal Authors’ Book entry for 5 August 1880, which lists payment of 10s 6d for In Memoriam by John Macleod of 35 Chesham Rd, Brighton (NLS Dep 341/294). This must relate to the poem In Memoriam. D. M., published on 21 April 1883, which is an extract from Macleod’s Elijah; or The Spiritual Vision (1882), signed on the title page John McLeod [of] Culkein, Stoer. (AC)
