Charlotte M. Mew.Born in London. Daughter of Frederick Mew and Anna Maria Marden. Educated at Gower Street School. Well acquainted with Thomas Hardy. Swore with her sister to never marry due to their family’s bad luck, but had several homosexual courtships and relationships with other women.
