Major Mundy.Joined the army in 1821 and eventually became a colonel in 1854. Served in India, Canada, and Australia. Married Louisa Katrina Herbert on 6 June 1848. Author of Pen and Pencil Sketches, being the Journal of a tour in India (1832) and Our Antipodes: or, Residence and Rambles in the Australasian Colonies (1852), which he illustrated himself.
