Bullen.Born in England. Daughter of Dr. John Moore Cookesley. Educated in France. Lived in Australia between 1867 and 1870. Married Henry Bullen in 1867, then Arthur Patchett Martin in 1886. Publications include some children’s fiction and short stories, but she is better known for her editing work on Australian anthologies Under the Gum Tree: Australian Bush Stories (1890) and Coo-ee: Tales of Australian Life by Australian Ladies (1891).
